LED chip wax paper loading and unloading

The loading and unloading work is highly repetitive with minimal value add and has difficulty with staffing.

Due to space limitation of existing production lines, automation transformation is challenging.

A CR5 robot is equipped with a suction cup gripper and positioning sensor, and is placed on a rail. The positioning sensor detects the wax paper in the material tray, the robot then picks up the wax paper and places it in the waxing machine. CR5 then moves to the next waxing machine to perform the same task. The CR5 manages 5 waxing stations at the same time.

Replaces 2 workers, and increase efficiency by 15%.
