In today's rapidly evolving world, access to quality education is essential for the development and empowerment of individuals. Unfortunately, remote areas often face significant challenges in providing educational opportunities that match those available in urban centers. At Dobot Robotics, we believe in the transformative power of technology and its ability to bridge the gap in education. Therefore, we are thrilled to announce our participation in the Magician Lite program, a collaborative effort with Talentum and Lenovo Education, aimed at enhancing education in remote regions of Colombia, which was also featured in the prestigious media El Pais .
Expanding Educational Infrastructure:
Through this remarkable program, we have joined forces to provide over 300 collaborative robots to official educational institutions in the Colombian departments of Cauca, Chocó, Putumayo, and Valle del Cauca. These robots will be deployed in more than 100 schools, ensuring that over 65,000 students in remote areas of Colombia can benefit from improved educational opportunities.

The Power of Collaboration:
The alliance between Dobot Robotics and Talentum is rooted in the field of collaborative robotics, ? an integral part of STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Our shared vision is to expand the breadth of knowledge and collaboration in various technological domains, empowering children and young people with innovative solutions that leave a sustainable impact on education and society in Colombia. Dobot offers more than just collaborative robots, including a range of educational ecosystems.

Overcoming the Digital Divide:
The primary objective of this project is to enhance the educational infrastructure in remote areas of Colombia, optimizing the quality of education in official educational institutions across the departments of Cauca, Chocó, Putumayo, and Valle del Cauca. By doing so, we aim to address the digital divide and provide equal educational opportunities to students throughout the country.

Making a Difference:
In the municipalities of Balboa, Buenos Aires, Cajibio, Miranda and Padilla, 212 institutions and educational centers have adopted the STEAM methodology for teaching, benefiting 14,394 students and 371 teachers. 237 STEAM classrooms have been implemented to complement effective learning methods. To date, 192 STEAM classrooms have been equipped with TUMLAB or cobots from Dobot.
We firmly believe that education is a fundamental right that should not be limited by geographical constraints. By introducing collaborative robots into the educational ecosystem of remote areas, we are fostering interactive and engaging learning experiences. These robots will facilitate hands-on activities, problem-solving, and teamwork, empowering students to develop vital skills in critical thinking, creativity, and technology.
