The software platform has more than a thousand underlying operators, providing over 70 typical vision tools such as template matching, geometric positioning, BLOB analysis, and calipers. Users can quickly complete rich visual applications including visual positioning, measurement, detection, and recognition through graphical interaction, empowering robotic arm applications with vision.
The vision kit is integrated with a Dobot robot control module with powerful scalability. It contains more than a thousand kinds of image processing operators and delivers excellent performance. It has various visual analysis tools such as positioning, measurement, calibration, image processing, and defect detection to meet the needs of different experimental projects and applications.
Its graphical interaction, drag-and-drop operation, and visual development enable students to configure and operate more flexibly and simply. Rich teaching demos are available to help students quickly understand the development of robot and vision combined applications and get started quickly with AI learning.
Introducing Dobot Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge
In order to invoke more people's passion for robotics, Dobot brought the competition map and the associated equipment of Dobot Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge to its booth at EDIX. Dobot provides a global robotics competition platform for all-age learners with innovative spirits, with the aim to effectively cultivate top-notch robotic talents to better serve the needs of Industry 4.0 and the future by simulating the intelligent sorting process in intelligent manufacturing.
The fascinating part of the challenge is that it realizes an intelligent iteration of traditional industrial models through a fine combination of hardware and software. The simulation of real factory settings fully enhances students' logical thinking and hands-on capabilities. Students can learn cutting-edge knowledge in areas like STEAM, AI, and IoT, and lay a solid foundation to become a talent with interdisciplinary skills needed in the future.
In 2019, Dobot will host about 10 international competitions, 6 domestic regional competitions, 13 provincial competitions, and 20 city-level competitions. The final of 2019 World Robot Contest will be held in Baoding, Hebei from July 25th to 28th. The Championship Challenge will be held in Yizhuang, Beijing from August 20th to 25th. As an important part of them, Dobot Intelligent Manufacturing Competition will be held simultaneously.
Dobot is committed to helping STEAM education and robot education to reach more schools and families. The challenge encourages students to unleash their imagination and use hardware and software products as carriers to realize ideas in the physical world, creating a sense of accomplishment and enhancing their innovating capabilities.
